Be kind to yourself.

Be kind whenever possible.
It is always possible. #DalaiLama

Kindness is the touch of love. Love is passion for living that is everywhere, but you can only find it by noticing what you sense. Kindness sparks healing and happiness. Love grows.

You have natural charisma. Open your eyes, heart, mind and arms to embrace the future. Let love in. Noticing what you see, hear, taste, touch and smell will guide you to sense inner purpose and comforting balance.

Your 5 senses are remarkable intuitive connections that hold no emotional charge. Instead, fine tuning your senses links with inner courage that keeps you dancing with the beat of your heartFine-tuning your senses is a reality check

Life is big and unpredictable. Don't judge it by the size of problems you're tackling today. In fact, don't judge, instead do what feels right. Intuition another name for common sense. Common sense makes kindness a no brainer by keeping the big picture in focus.

How is your relationship with yourself? If it's on the back burner, piled under work, stress and social obligations, give yourself a break. Be kind to yourself. Break free from the habit of ignoring what you need.

Common sense. Intuitive attitudes of curiosity, dignity and kindness are 'common sense' that makes you more effective. Be sensational. Connecting with kindness invites good things into your life.

Forget total control over circumstances. Instead be open to receive what or who is in front of your eyes and ears.  'The universe has far greater plans for us than we could ever imagine for ourselves.'

Give yourself a chance to fly. Take a breath and imagine that you are spreading your wings. Now, stand up and take a very deep breath. Feel your whole rib cage expand and you will literally feel lifted.

If you don't trust or notice what you sense, your relationship with yourself sours. You lose contact with natural rhythms and the big picture. Things jam, fall apart, get lost or hurt.

Are the voices in your mind being kind? Thinking with your senses is organic relaxation that telegraphs self-respectUse it to let go of preconceived notions or thoughts looping through your brain. Think with your senses to free your mind.

  • Listen to music for 5 minutes. Close your eyes and feel the beat. Discover new energy and momentum when you open your eyes. Let yourself dance.
  • If the day's been intense, take a 5 minute shower before the evening starts. Be sensual and tune-in to your body. Feel the water tenderize your skin and you will find that you are able to relax and may even be smiling. By refreshing your body, you will think from a fresh perspective
  • Breaking routine is always a stress buster. Call an old friend. Go to the gym, do yoga or take a walk around the block to reset pace and reconnect with your sense of purpose. The breathing room is you being kind to yourself.
Be kind to yourself by respecting what you sense and you will feel complete. Here's how:
Take time to relax every day.
Tune-in to your 5 senses to find the spark in your heart
Respect yourself. Take a few deep breaths.

Everything you intuitively know is already part of you. There's nothing to remember. Let yourself feel some love today.

Having a Bad Day

Everything changes.

The simplest way to keep an open mind is to recognize that whether the glass is half-empty or half-full, more can always be added. Make the choice to be open to receive what you want, not what you fear. Trusting values is surprisingly empowering.

When you trust what you sense including that gut feeling, you stay clear about the present. When you respect your values, then, what you want becomes attainable. The future is ours to create.

Bad days happen, but they pass because things always change. Sensual thinking keeps you tuned to the big picture. Think with your senses and feel with your mind to follow rhythms of change.

A clear perspective takes us out of ruts of habit; so we keep dancing on the floor of living. Even on bad days, we need to move with change, we need to dance. Discover new options, new dance partners and your own moves. Be the change you want to see.

Your world is not tiny; open your eyes and your heart.

Everybody has problems. There is the story about a group of friends who got together at Starbucks. They decide to put their problems on the table. Seeing how horrible the others' problems were, each grabbed their own back with a SOR and left. Perspective is a stress-buster.

The big picture is always available. Sensing is how we find perspective. There is always more going on than we imagine.  Be open to the unexpected.
  • Be curious. Trust what you sense to stay alert about what matters.
  • Listen to what feels right. It's not about words, it's about values like dignity and love.

If passion drives you, let reason hold the reins. #BenFranklin

Staying clear about doing what feels right, results in good timing and good luck. Curiosity keeps options clear. Dignity is self-respect, and courage happens automatically.

Things happen and Life is not easy. Choose for your values. The result of making hard choices to follow what feels right – no matter the criticism or loneliness– always results in self-esteem and self-respect. Amazingly, this fills our glass.

Life is a superb and dazzlingly lighted hall, which may be reached
only by passing through a long and ghastly kitchen. #ClaudeBernard

Google Sky Map

Google Sky Map is my current favorite app!  It gives a perspective that sparkles. It  shows the stars and tells me what I'm seeing. As I lie in bed in NYC, Zenith and Taurus are right over my head!  What does it mean? I don't know. I'm not an astrologer. All I know is it feels good to be aligned with those bright lights.

Light lifts our spirits, twirls away dark thoughts and makes corners cozy. Like music, light is a tool for opening our minds. Every one of us has starlight that we can feel, when we're open to the experience. It feels like affirmation of the parts of us that have not yet been realized. It's a connection with purpose and it's sensual. Sensual thinking helps you know yourself better.  That means you can satisfy yourself, better.

Times are not dependable! The only thing that we can depend on is the balance of sensual thinking. The balance of thinking with our senses and feeling iconic values like dignity and tenacity is our inner starlight.  It's time to move forward into the light of 21st century thinking. Intuitive values are the foundation of self-respect. Before we can love another fully, before we can be true to ourselves, before we can find genuine satisfaction in life - it's necessary to hook up with self-respect.  Self-respect is a quiet kind of feeling, solid in yourself, that guides wise decisions.

Protect yourself with sensual thinking. Inhale starlight with your eyes and trust the power of connecting with your dignity.  Dance more, stress less. The sparkles in starlight might be humor or they might be love. Have fun!

Check out Google Sky Map app. It's open sourced and easy on a smart phone or a tablet. Use it anytime to be aware of starlight shining on you! It's always here.  Everyone all over the world sees the same stars. Make a wish.

Reconnect with your inner  child and enjoy the wonder of our twinkling universe.
