Mask Thoughts

Resilient.

Justice, truth and love are resilient and so are we. Pre-covid I bopped in and out of the city wearing dark red lipstick. Now I wear a red mask. I love NYC and the spontaneous 24/7 creative energy. 

I look forward to grabbing a slice at 2AM, eating it with strangers. The bakeries, the bars. People on subways and street corners, lovers standing close, musicians sharing inspiration, people with plans – and the excitement that will return.

Transcend the mask. 

A mask doesn’t cover a voice. Speak plainly about justice, stand-up for truth, express love. Look for balance and connections. Even with the mask, intuitive choices unlock potential to over-ride limits. The future is ours to create.

Sensing inner connections is the language of possibility. Sensing with heart highlights focus and clarity.  Bonds we need are screened in the head and highlighted at the heart. You are brighter than you know.  The flame burns inside. 

Behind masks, we are hard and soft, old, young, coping, curious, dreaming and hungry for happiness. It all matters. The inner light is on. Don’t ignore it. Freedom is precious. Hearts trapped by masks of time or loneliness or denial need to come out.  

Faces tell stories – the moist joy of smiles, a dry line of sarcasm, open grins with gaping teeth. Exhaustion, excitement, anticipation, anxiety, elation and peace are written on a face. I never thought about lips so much. Emotions, seeded with lips, root in the heart and can grow unspeakable desires and dreams. Every smile is cellular, unique and magnetic. 

 

Indulge in sensual thinking. Let the gentle kiss of curiosity open your mind. There is magic. If eyes are the window to the heart, is the mouth a sign-post of soul?  The way a mouth curves with words. The way lips part with surprise. Lips are exciting. Faces are maps.  

Don’t let the mask throw you off-balance. 

Masks are an absurd inconvenience in an absurd time, making a profound statement. Behind the mask is self-respect. We are brave. There is a lot of work to do.

Bravery keeps us steady. For balance and bravery our thoughts bounce with values like justice, truth and love. Intuition nudges us with courage, patience, dignity and curiosity that are indisputable. This is the beginning of glorious transformation. 

Never let a day pass without learning something. Create new rituals that are meaningful and uplifting. The path is open to build a more humane world where dignity and courage are valued.

 

Dignity and heart bring renewal and forgiveness. Dignity, self-respect, and faith in tomorrow are intuitive tools that transcend separation, isolation and loneliness. Sensuality is presence that fortifies dreams. 

When heat of a moment is balanced with  perspective of the heart, tangible harmonies form. Sense access to your heart. Start by going easy on yourself. We are all naked behind the mask.

 

Our insanity.

Every part of our being is moving towards balance. Love holds us tight even when Life tilts. When we recognize love and forget all the answers, the mask fades away.

The present is all consuming. Smile behind the mask. Humor refreshes the soul, and as distractions slip away, our choices are reset with values and purpose. Perspective returns. Be grateful.  #janebernard

Alone together.

The Subject is Always Love

Alone together there is a tenderness we share. So much is changing and still, love is in the air.

Sheltering in place, we reach out for comfort along electric highways. We find connection, defy isolation and keep dreams alive. 

Sensing kinship with each other and our planet, our hearts are awake. We're resetting the moral compass. Our (r)evolution is creative and transparent. 

Everyone is a unique facet on the magnificent gem of humanity. Our colors and codes complement each other.  

On the holy battle ground of life our physical, emotional and spiritual needs are the same. What unites us is stronger than what divides us. 

Isolation demands we see ourselves for who we are and decide who we want to be when this ends. Look around. 

Everyone who dreams of peace is a healer. Love is everywhere.

The golden ram is smashed.

The empire is done. Alone together we gather insights and watch programmed intolerance and vanity crumble. This change is good. Inequality, callousness and selfishness don't fly. Greed and entitlement are worthless. Life is great.

Realizing the system is broken drives us to see economic imprisonment is the poison dart of greed. Under-valuing human needs is insanity. We sense it. The truth builds confidence. Collectively we are moving far away from the bondage of arrogance and entitlement.

Freedom.

In the past, isolation was used by tyrants to silence people who challenged the status quo –– but that was before the internet. Internet technology expands and drives communication.  Thanks to the world wide web, we have freedom to stay connected. We can't be isolated. 

Sharing thoughts, feelings and facts with each other is the breath of life that fans sparks of freedom. Let it flame. In unity there is strength. Our power is courage, dignity and heart. 

Soul connections unite and uplift us. Feel the music. With gentle words share your strength, respect, dreams and fears. Gratitude is a sweet dance. Love is everywhere. 

The shift.

Independent thinking grows in isolation. We make observations like agreeing that the emperor is truly naked or that clean air is good for our world. We find our own agendas and remember each other.

Life is a blink. Virtually holding hands, we unite goals and dreams. Carefully surfing the paradigm shift with eyes wide open, we use courage dignity and curiosity to stay clear. It's a new world where vanity is hollow and integrity is exciting. 

The gift is a future that is ours to create. It's not easy, but it's glorious. Freedom to be part of a life shift that represents our time, our spirit, our lives and our values is priceless. 

People are beautiful. 

The spirit of human generosity is spectacular.  New ways of helping others feel strong and cared for are blooming. People in museums, organizations, small businesses and beautiful hero's like you are reaching out with kindness. 

Being alive is a miracle. Love, compassion and faith in the human spirit is our untouchable power. Survival's not about bravery. It's a state of mind. 

We're here together.

KISS THE SKY

We are wired for self-repair. 

An intuitive nudge is the insight that answers to a highest power. When your mind gets jammed, listen to your gut. 

Intuition is perspective that keeps Life in focus.  Sometimes it's time to take a break, and kiss the sky.

We have purpose, destiny and distractions. There is too much stress and unjust suffering. Don't tune out. Distractions force us to choose what matters. 

The past is in ruins but the present is still in play. Notice what you sense. Be open to alternatives and realities. Life is an amazing gift.

 Stress drives us to withdraw into programmed corners of our mind. That's how we lose enthusiasm or forget to laugh at ourselves. Remember to live. Represent love. 

Side-effects of stress shut down sensuality. It jams our mind so much, we ignore the gentle kiss of sunlight or don’t feel the wind’s intimate touch on the tender skin beneath our ears. Stress shuts down the pleasures and power of curiosity. Rise above the side effects and kiss the sky. Let clouds drift by.

We live fully by helping each other. Letting people in and working together,strengthens lights of compassion along the path of love. Greatness is never solitary.

Everything changes except the kiss of soul that stirs our blood. 

Good health, safety, love, dreams, responsibilities, the unknown, the unknowable, the freedom to choose...all of it changes.  Life is utter magic. Joy found in freedom is the excitement of power and the balance of  self-control that keeps priorities in focus.

Kindness is the highest form of wisdom. Be kind. Destiny is best to meet with eyes, ears, mind and heart wide open. Being  in sync with values is the path of destiny. 

Celebrate. 

Purpose can be elusive. We have to search to sense it. You know how you feel. Every morning there's a new dawn, a new day, a new choice. Feel good. Like the wind, like rivers, like time, life flows. Everything changes.

Don't lose yourself in the swirl of paranoia or prejudice. These poisons age us. Curiosity is the secret fountain of youth that keeps options open. It's the skill of an open mind you were born with. Magic and miracles happen quickly and are easy to miss. Keep the doors open.

Don't lose yourself. 

 Stress and fear are suckers that burrow under our skin. Protect yourself. Take a stand for fairness, dignity and compassion. Be uncompromisingly honest with yourself. Protect your skin. 

Protect your health by washing your hands often. Protect your mind by letting go of anger.

Be present. 

The only way out is through. Choose to be way better off. Use today to take action that feels dignified and generous. Every choice impacts goals you have set for yourself. Don't get distracted from your values by what doesn't feel good.

A heart full of humility over comes a head full or doubt. It takes changing ourselves first before we can change the world.  No matter what it takes, it's worth it. #janebernard

Moving

Stung by the stigma of dispair created by apathy, the future feels threatened. We're moving. We sense needs and unite for what is right. Survival is intuitive.

Change is an act of courage. Risk is inescapable. Moving ahead, be fully committed to what you believe. Maintain an open mind.

An open mind means, staying aware that we may possibly be wrong. The universe has bigger plans for us than we imagine.

Courage is the foundation all personal values. It is Bravery + Wisdom. Everyone has purpose and ability to choose but when perspective is lost, we become complacent. Apathy is never an option. If we are not courageous, we become slaves. Freedom includes taking the risk of honoring your heart.

                              Are we in bondage?

The system of democracy is broken, but it is not beyond repair. Fear brings alienation and anxiety. Intuitively we turn to sensitivity, awareness and responsibility to create radical change.

With great courage we join ideas and work together to re-establish liberty throughout our land. Express your own original ideas. Trust your inner nobility and act with dignity and vision.

The president-elect(2016) ran his campaign on boasting, fear and lies. Bullies are cruel, afraid, insecure and dangerous. They create despair. The media, instigating fear, repeated every cruel slur, as if being paid off. Mr. Trump kept insisting the election was rigged. And now since he's won, it's easy to believe that this was the truth.

Confronted by change, we intuitively make decisions that define the essence of our being. Moving ahead to preserve an equitable and humane future is to live with greatness. You are part of something bigger. The future is yours to create. Be great.

Fear of losing freedom drives us feel inner faith. Faith is not being able to see the future; it is being clear about what you're doing to create it. Tune to your inner nobility by noticing what you sense. Courage is the capacity for thinking and listening holistically. We must think outside the box to uncover creative change that heals our democracy and our world. 

Intuitive thinking is very simple. The more we develop our senses, the higher our levels of sensitivity.  Notice what you see, hear, taste, touch and smell. Simple physical sensitivity builds moral courage. As long as we have moral courage, we will never be victims.

Courage comes from the French word meaning, heart. With the election of a man who ran his campaign as the 'biggest bully,' we are forced to leap into unknown change with a commitment of heart. Courage is not rash, it is productive. It is not the way to compensate for fear, but instead it is the intuitive way we maintain dignity.

A puppy becomes a dog by instinct and an acorn becomes a tree naturally, but we must be courageous. A commitment to courage is required to create the future We are all leaders and teachers. Notice who you follow. Be humble when you lead.

The Light of Time shines between, through, around and inside the jewel of humanity. We come together as  a collective moral force. Reality is virtual, literal, actual and spiritual. There is sweet personal power uniting us, connecting us all. 

On the stage of time, bouncing energy fields become rhythms of action and waves of Love. We light up with the freedom of Truth and shine together with Justice.

With every rebound we tune-in to melodies of connection and recharge our soul. Sensuality unlocks our moments pushing open doors to the future. We know what we need.

The internet frees us to think outside the box, true to what we sense. Inner truth is knowledge of the heart that can't be mentally mastered, learned or held. It is an infinite resource of protective, intuitive wisdom, always available. 

Intuitive tools like courage, dignity, curiosity and integrity are universal strategies. We rely on these to point the way to the change that will lift darkness and fears.

The selfie college of Life connects with timing that is a personal/visual caress along the way. Maybe people who take spontaneous selfies are less self-critical. Silence speaks volumes. We are all drops in the ocean of Life.  Dance. Ride the currents of good timing. Sense what mattersi. Be tuned to tides of change. The idea is to be yourself, not judge yourself. Judging a book by its cover or a person by the angle of their jaw is wrong.  

There are always different angles. We're all part of the big picture and subject to the same laws of time. Share from your heart. Honor your soul. Use your power wisely.

Don't think.

Beauty is not rational. Neither is intuition or Love. 

"Thinking" is overrated. Don't be so busy thinking, you miss what's right in front of your eyes.

Life morphs faster than the wind and is deeper than the ocean. Be sensual. This is your time. Don't let "thinking" slow you down.  

Thinking sensually goes beyond every expectation by clarifying your unique identity. Life is amazing. You sense faster than you can think. Importantly, everything you sense connects with timing and your heart. Recognizing what feels right becomes tiny bubbles of confidence and completeness that power the day.

Thinking with your senses and feeling with your mind generates internal reasoning that constantly synthesizes the finest of who you are. You feel vibrant. Sensuality is never passive. Being present sensually, regularly stamps your ticket for exhilaration and love. 

Talk about intuition or sensuality and the conversation always turns to love. No matter who we are, we feel it moving inside us. Everyone seeks love and beauty.  No one describes exhilaration, love or Life as 'rational'.  

Let beauty and wonder stimulate you because what you sense connects to your spirit - where tough love, inner gratitude and kindness are alive and well. Don't confuse intuition with "thinking".  Instead of "reasoning," look at challenges by noticing what you sense. Simply see what you're looking at or hear what you notice. It will not be the same. You can be in a situation that looks like a dead end, turn around to see unexplored opportunities or beauty. Life is not rational.

Love is an amazing thing that has nothing to do with thinking. Depending on who is talking, there is an endless supply or a shortage. Love is always sensual. The more we give or accept love and kindness into our lives, the more we have to share. It doesn't even matter if it's returned or not, because our intuitive confidence thrives. 

Evolution is not rational while it's happening, yet it's happening all the time all over the world. Be brave.  Intuition is our tool for thriving. Think less, sense more. Sensing is the language of possibility.

Bravery, like love, is a commitment from the heart. We are born with powerful intuitive connections. Bravery isn’t something you seek; it's the dignified part of who you are. Feeling brave is our intuitive connection with destiny. 

Individual bravery is personal style that is intuitive. The moment you choose to be true to yourself ~ Life changes. Bravery happens in the present. Feeling brave is your connection with timing, pace and change. Sometimes it's raw; always, it's liberating. No one controls what you think, which means you're in control of who you are, where you're going, and why. 

The pace of life is brisk. To be present: notice what you sense. No matter what's happening, your thinking has to maintain real connections with change. Change means leaving behind what no longer connects with the big picture of your life, to keep walking across the bridge of time to your future.  The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it and join the dance. ~Alan Watts

You are born to be brave. It's natural to make the dignified choice. Do what feels right inside your head and inside your heart. Bravery is an intuitive connection with stability in your life. Sometimes it feels like courage or determination. The cool thing about doing what is right is that bravery needs no defense.

The intuitive way to be brave to protect your freedom is by keeping in touch with feelings of dignity and courage.  Be responsible and brave to get what you want. Be curious and patient to keep your mind open. Be kind. Bravery is the part of dignity that connects your potential with options that are right under your skin.

In our lives and around the world, we know what stinks. Injustice has a ‘smell’ and so does love. We know the difference. There is an intuitive nudge to be brave. There is no place for evil - not even in ourselves. Bravery between us is a call for mutual respect. Bravery, like love the way to intuitively drive healthy change and maintain harmony in our lives and our world.  

Be Brave. Step out of the box of dogma, injustice, or comfort, to do what is right. The moment you do - you soar like an eagle.

The Language of Wonder

Wonder.

Wonder is a quiet, not particularly articulate, part of who we are. The language of wonder does the impossible. It connects us with what is bigger than ourselves by tuning us in to think sensually. Wonder does not connect with dogma or rules, but it strongly connects us with each other. Freedom, music and change are the language of wonder.

Moments of wonder occur without warning. 

In a breath or with a blink of eye contact, you experience the surprise taste of understanding that you are part of something else. Your senses are the key to wonder that opens doors to the place where you feel understood and loved. Wonder happens like a kiss.

Wonder does not happen in the past or in the future. It only happens in the here and now. 

Think with your senses for awareness and feel with your mind to notice what you notice.

It's surprisingly easy to notice what you notice. 

It doesn't matter where you are, just as long as you are here. Tune in with music, heart, sunlight or starlight. Let the wind whisper in your ears. Lick your spoon the next time something is delicious. The more you think with your senses, the more natural and amazing your focus becomes. Wonder is an explosion of connection. It's the sperm connecting with the egg. We don't need to understand it. It's real. 

Stream with change.

An intimate symphony of rhythm, food, light and touch takes us beyond ourselves. We always sense the music and feel winds of change. Change blows us straight through time. Gratitude and the feeling of wonder point us towards peace of mind. Music of change is everywhere. Calling out around the world, we're tuned to a brand new beat.  

Quantum Thinking.

Sensing is the language of wonder. It's not intellectual it's quantum. Words we feel with our mind and heart – like courage, dignity, freedom, curiosity and love – are the diet of wonder we use to know ourselves better, fight injustice and evolve together. 

Just like a house has doors and windows for access, your 6 senses are powerful portals to the world. Your eyes, ears, nose, tongue, heart and mind tune-in to the rhythms of your soul. Everything you see, hear, taste, touch and smell tunes-in to the pace of life; so that communication is harmony and bravery is common sense.

The future is in the air, circling the globe and feels like 'now'.

Wonder is the light of connection we share with words like passion, innocence purpose and love.  When that connection happens, dignity becomes self-respect and wonder renews our innocence, curiosity and dreams.
